Our Mask Fit Testing sessions provide essential certification for individuals needing respirator mask fit testing for work or school requirements. Sessions are available in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, North York and Scarborough. We offer mask fit certifications for N95 disposable masks, half- face reusable respirators, and full-face respirators, catering to both healthcare and commercial/industrial settings.
We conduct Qualitative Fit Testing (QFLT) one-on-one or group sessions pre-scheduled across various locations. This certification aligns with Occupational Health and Safety (OHSA) standards and Canadian CSA-Z94 regulations for respiratory protection. Participants are certified with a 2-year certification card upon successful completion. Sessions last approximately one hour, with limited capacity per session.
• Introduction to N95 and respirator masks
• Purpose and necessity of mask fit testing
• Proper mask inspection, donning, and doffing
• Sensitivity test and air seal check procedures
• Physical mask fit testing process
• Certification issued on successful completion
Mask Fit Testing typically takes 15 to 30 minutes per person to complete.
This includes a brief orientation, donning of the mask, and a qualitative fit test, depending on the mask type and workplace requirements.
Group sessions can be organized for onsite testing or at our training location.
Certification applies to N95, half face, or full-face respirators, covering essential areas like mask inspection, limitations, donning, seal check, and proper mask disposal. Certifications are valid for two years. N95 masks (medical-grade 3M) are not provided unless pre-ordered. Only medical-grade masks are used.
