Choose from the list of course options according to your need for work, school or other requirements. Courses are provided in accordance with the latest first aid and CPR guidelines set by the Heart & Stroke Foundation and meet legislation requirements for federal and provincial worker safety and insurance boards (WSIB). The classes are designed for everyone regardless of their profession. The course objective is to prepare you for an emergency in any setting. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate that is valid for 3 years.
Blended courses are designed to provide flexibility, convenience and consistency in first aid and CPR training. The learning includes an online portion and an in-class session. The online portion utilizes a user-friendly platform that is interactive and engaging giving you control over the learning experience. Study anywhere there is access to the internet at your own pace. The in-class session is designed to provide you with hands-on skills testing conducted in-person with a Certified Heart & Stroke Instructor.
In-class only courses are taught by a certified Heart & Stroke Instructor and consist of video presentations, hands-on skills testing, group interaction and interactive cases. Participants receive coaching and feedback to facilitate their learning experience in a fun, engaging and dynamic environment. First Aid with CPR & AED courses were developed in accordance with recommendations from the International First Aid and Resuscitation Guidelines.
