FIRST AID & CPR CERTIFICATION

Anyone with a valid first aid certificate can be a first aider. A role of a first aider includes recognizing an emergency, contacting emergency medical services (EMS) and provide prompt care until the EMS arrives to the scene.

First aid refers to the care provided to an injured person until professional medical care can be obtained.

CPR stands for cardiopulmonary resuscitation which involves the combination of rescue breathes and chest compressions. CPR is done to circulates blood that contains oxygen to vital organs in a person suffering from cardiac arrest when the heart and breathing have stopped.

Level C courses teach first aid and/or CPR for adults, children and infants. In our commitment to serve the community, VIVICPR offers at minimum Level C courses to ensure people receiving training to provide first aid and/or CPR to all age groups.

Level HCP courses also teach first aid and/or CPR, plus additional information for Health Care Providers. The course content is designed for doctors, nurses, paramedics, and others health care professionals. In addition to the contents in Level C, this course also teaches Bag-Valve Mask (BVM), two-rescuer CPR, and the pulse check.

Recertification courses allows you to renew your certification for an additional three years. If your certification is nearing the expiration date, you can renew your skills, without having to complete the online training component saving you time and money, upon successful completion you will receive a valid certification for 3 years. The re certification class is designed to refresh your knowledge and skills with our Red Cross instructor / trainer.

Blended classes consist of an online training component where you will learn the theory and an in-person component, where you will come to the training facility to do skills testing. This significantly reduces the time spent in class.
