3M Qualitative Mask Fit Test
Our Mask Fit Testing sessions provide essential certification for individuals needing respirator mask fit testing for work or school requirements. Sessions are available in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, North York and Scarborough. We offer mask fit certifications for N95 disposable masks, half- face reusable respirators, and full-face respirators, catering to both healthcare and commercial/industrial settings.
We conduct Qualitative Fit Testing (QFLT) one-on-one or group sessions pre-scheduled across various locations. This certification aligns with Occupational Health and Safety (OHSA) standards and Canadian CSA-Z94 regulations for respiratory protection. Participants are certified with a 2-year certification card upon successful completion. Sessions last approximately one hour, with limited capacity per session.

Preparation Before the Mask Fit Test
- Facial Hair Guidelines: Male participants must be clean-shaven (no beards; mustaches are acceptable) to meet CDC guidelines. Non-compliance may result in denied entry.
- Dietary Restrictions: Avoid eating, drinking (except water), smoking, or chewing gum at least 15 minutes prior to testing.
- Required Documents: Bring a completed “Qualitative Mask Fit Test Participant Form” from your email confirmation to the session.
- Punctuality: Arrive on time to avoid disruptions. Late arrivals may be refused entry, as sessions begin as a group.
Booking Process
- Review the session schedule and select a date and location.
- Choose an available time slot and register for the selected date and time.
- Enter participant details, including names, emails, and phone numbers, with required acknowledgments.
- Complete the payment (credit/debit card or e-transfer). You will receive a receipt and confirmation email with session details.
Format/Time
- Blended CPR with AED Course takes approximately 6 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing; 2 hours for online portion and 4 hours for in-class component
- In-classroom CPR with AED Course takes approximately 5 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing
- CPR Level C Recertification is 3.5 hours teaching time in-class OR 2 hours online learning + 2.5 hours in-class for Blended CPR.
Certification Details and Participant Information
Certification applies to N95, half face, or full-face respirators, covering essential areas like mask inspection, limitations, donning, seal check, and proper mask disposal. Certifications are valid for two years. N95 masks (medical-grade 3M) are not provided unless pre-ordered. Only medical-grade masks are used.
